Sometimes life gets ahead of us, and we forget or just can't find the time to properly care for our pool. All of a sudden it's no longer a beautiful crystal-clear blue but a lovely shade of algae-infested green. AquaJon's specializes in green pools, and we can have your pool clean and blue in no time. Pools turn green when chlorine levels drop below 1 ppm, which causes algae to grow in the pool. When this happens we will "shock" the water with chemicals to kill the algae and return the pool to normal chlorine levels. We have four packages depending on the severity of the algae growth. Contact us to make a free appointment to come visit your pool. All of our consultations are free.
When your pool water turns Green
Green Pool Clean-Up Options
The chosen remedy will vary based on the severity of the problem

Just Green
A "Just Green" pool is just that. The algae has been blooming for about a week so the pool turned green within the last few days. A "Just Green" pool usually requires a minimum of 2 visits but and can possibly require up to 5 visits.

Emerald Green
Once algae has been growing in a pool for over a week, the green color becomes more vibrant and leaves and debris start to build up on the pool floor, making it almost impossible to see the bottom o the pool in deeper water. This level of green will require more chemical and more follow-up visits than a "Just Green" pool.

Yucky Green
Although a pool this green really should have an acid wash, it can still be saved with a heavy dose of chemicals, a really good cleaning, and multiple follow-ups. The pool is just a fortnight away from becoming a full fledged pond with frogs, fish, and a couple of ducks.

Acid Wash
The water almost looks black and there is so much life growing that the sides of the pool have stained. The only way to return the pool to its aqua-blue glory is to drain the water and soak the pool in acid.
